Help Bridge the Weekend Meal Gap
For children who rely on school meals, weekends can mean uncertainty about their next meal. Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida’s Hi-Five Kids Pack program helps fill that gap with kid-friendly foods such as cereal, shelf-stable milk, juice, and fruit cups.
According to Feeding America’s Map the Meal Gap 2026 report, approximately one in five children in Second Harvest’s seven-county Central Florida service area experiences food insecurity. The estimates are based on 2024 data. Learn more from Second Harvest.
Help us provide food for children when school meals aren’t available. By sponsoring Hi-Five food packs, you can support children in Central Florida through the weekend. Together, our FREEFLO community can turn compassion into practical help.
Our Goal: At Least 1,000 Food Packs
Each pack costs $10. Our goal is to fund and assemble at least 1,000 packs, requiring a minimum of $10,000.
That’s our starting goal. With additional support, we can provide even more packs for children who need them.

$100 funds 10 packs.

Join Us in the Volunteer Area
Conference attendees will assemble the packs using supplies provided through Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
